The longest serving member of Kyneto Men's Shed, Bob Grubb, is the recipient of the Shed's inaugurial Life Membership award.

Bob, who joined the Shed some 25 years after it became one of Australia's first Men's Sheds was the surprise recipient at the recent annual general meeting.   During Bob's many years at the shed he has undertaken countless work for a variety of schools,clubs and general community organisations.

He has led the Shed's important induction courses for both men and women pioneered the popular ladies woodwork courses.  In addition he has twice each year organised the delivery of a trailer load of redgum firewood for the all important fundraising wood raffles that are critical for the Shed's financial viability.
